About George M.D. MacKenzie
At the age of 19, I purchased my first life insurance policy. Like most people, I had difficulty understanding the terminology, but the benefits were crystal clear – in the event of my early passing, my parents and 5 brothers would not have to struggle to pay my last expenses.
I had no idea how that decision to purchase life insurance at such a young age would affect the direction in my life. A few years later, while increasing my life insurance to cover a mortgage, and income replacement prior to our son’s birth, I was offered a position with London Life to be an advisor. After a couple of years, I was promoted to sales manager in Mississauga, and later in Kingston, recruiting and training advisors, and assisting them with their client’s needs. In 1996 I left London Life to pursue a sales manager role with Empire Life, and in 2000 was promoted to Regional Account manager in Ottawa. Since May 2011 I have worked in my current role as an independent advisor. This experience has given me the opportunity to offer my clients more choices. My Goal
My goal in creating this website, through the use of videos, is to help educate you to better protect the ones you love, now and in the future.

My Family
I am married to Sylvia and we have 6 children and 14 grandchildren. Family is everything to us, and if you share that same view, I would welcome the opportunity to help you find the right combination of insurance and annuity products and services for you and your family.
What I've Learned
I've learned that people buy what they want, and not what they need. Life insurance is a need product. I've also learned that people buy life insurance if they care about someone or something else.
